Important details for this season:
Our team practices will be held at Curie Elementary Multipurpose field on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm. Practices will be about an hour long.

Our first practice will be on Wednesday, February 26 at 4:00 pm. (The calendar on the website lists 2/19 as the first practice but we will have ours on 2/26)
<The calendar atuo-starts the events, so it's great to confirm the first date of practice you choose to hold. It's not critical to have more than 1 practice before the first game for TeeBall, for example>
Practice Location address:
Our games will be held at the Standley baseball field on Saturdays, at the backstop near the amphitheater stage. The schedule has not been released yet.
Every child will need a glove, helmet with face guard, and wear cleats. Our team colors and uniform requirements have also not been assigned. I will update the team as soon as I find out more information, and we'll coordinate what color pants, belt, and socks to buy for our kids so that we all match (jersey shirt and hats are provided by the league). Bats are required to have the USA Baseball label. I will have one bat to share for the entire team, but many parents choose to buy their own.
Team parent:
I am looking for an official team parent to help this season. Please let me know if you are interested. The time commitment is very low- organizing game snacks, an end of season party, and ordering the team banner. There is a zoom meeting this Tuesday at 7pm that will provide all the information about this role. I will send the link to that volunteer.
Communication:
I would like to make a group chat for all parents using What’s App. It’s an easy way to keep communication open rather than sending emails. I will send an invite out to your phone numbers this weekend. Please send me a direct e-mail with your phone number so I can create this chat.
